Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones celebrated New Year at Al Tarfa. On his birthday night, the legendary Led Zep bassist, multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, arranger, and record producer played some tunes on his mandolin that was appreciated by guests of Al Tarfa.

Escaping The Hype – New Year Holiday at Al Tarfa

Illustrious fashion designer Giambatistta Valli and jewlery designer Luigi Scialanga escaped the hype and came to spend the New Year holidays at Al Tarfa. The stylists filled the place with their cheerfullness and, together with guests of the lodge, enjoyed short excursions to the surrounding heritage sites, barbecue dinners in the desert and a cozy musical New Year’s eve. At the end of their one week stay, Valli stated that Al Tarfa is “charming” and represents “true luxury”.
