A filming team from the German Television – ARD – spent a week at Al Tarfa Desert Sanctuary. Director Patrick Leclercq and camera-man, Siegfried Blassing, aimed to document the simple life-forms and social patterns within Egypt’s remote oasis of Dakhla. Their crew’s entire visit, scouts and local community experiences were arranged by Al Tarfa Lodge in cooperation with ARD Producer, Mr. Zafer Kamal.
