“Super! … Great project…well done,” stated H.E. Zoheir Garana, the Egyptian Minister of Tourism, when asked to comment on Al Tarfa Desert Sanctuary. Garana officially opened Al Tarfa during his one-day visit to Dakhla Oasis on December 28.2008. The event was attended by Mr. Hesham Zazoa,Vice Minister, H.E. Ahmed Mokhtar, Governor of the New Valley, Mr. Amr El Ezabi, Head of The Tourism Authority, Mr. Khaled Makhluf, Head of The Tourism Development Authority.
